Today is Oct. 19, 2007. I thought I'd update you on my situation. If you read the first page of
site, you know that I became seriously ill while on a cruise to the Caribbean in March 2007.

I wanted to let you know that I've turned a corner and am very slowly starting to feel a little better. If things continue as they are, it may still be a very long time before I'm able to return to dancing BUT it just feels so wonderful to start feeling good again. At least good enough to where I can walk and even do some fishing out in the front yard. I live only a few seconds from The Green River in Auburn, WA and fishing is my favorite past time.

I'm over the worst of the illness and inside I'm feeling much much better. I'm actually very very excited about my future. Now if my body would just catch up to what's going on inside, I'de be a very happy camper.

I miss all of my friends and fellow dancers and I'm so thankful for your prayers, support and friendship. I hope to be back some time in 2008 IF that's where my life goes at that time.

My life's passion has always been to be in the full time Christian ministry and that is where I'm headed. This has just been a very painful "bump" on that road. This has been a very very challenging time but it has also been a time of restoration and preparation for the ministry.

Regardless of where my future takes me I will always be very very thankful for the 13 years I spent teaching dancing. I've made so many wonderful friends and I've been blessed to have made an impact on so many many lives.

I'll always have my dance shoes handy so you just never know when or where I'll show up. So until I'm restored and back on my feet again, keep on dancing and enjoying my classes. I have some wonderful people covering for me. So I'll see you on the dance floor hopefully in 2008.
